Account information: name, email address, and (if you sign in with Apple) your Apple ID identifier.
Wardrobe photos: images of clothing items you upload or photograph through the app.
Style preferences: lifestyle, style choices, budget level, colors and styles you prefer or avoid, and other onboarding inputs.
Trip and outfit inputs: destinations, dates, occasions, and any other details you enter to generate outfit or packing recommendations.
Customer support communications: any messages you send us when requesting help.

Information collected automatically

Usage data: features you interact with, outfits generated, items added, and similar in-app activity.
Diagnostic data: crash logs and performance data to help us fix bugs.
Device identifiers: a per-installation identifier used to associate your data with your account.
Approximate location: if you grant permission, we use your coarse location to fetch local weather for outfit recommendations.

Information from purchases

Subscription and payment information: Apple processes all payments through the App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status (e.g., active, trial, expired) but we do not see your full payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Build and display your digital wardrobe.
Generate AI-powered outfit recommendations, weekly plans, packing lists, and gap analyses.
Provide weather-aware suggestions based on your location.
Manage your account, subscriptions, and customer support requests.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

To run Climate Closet, we share certain data with the following service providers. Each provider has its own privacy policy.

Apple App Store	Processes subscriptions and in-app purchases.	Subscription status. Apple handles payment details directly.
Weather data provider	Provides weather forecasts for your location.	Approximate coordinates only. No personal identifiers.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app or by emailing us at the address below. When you delete your account:

Your wardrobe photos, outfits, trips, and preferences are permanently deleted from our database.
Anonymized, aggregated usage data may be retained for analytics.
We may retain limited records as required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes).

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate information.
Delete your information.
Export your information in a portable format.

8. International Users

Your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using Climate Closet, you consent to this transfer.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last revised.
